It’s Really THAT Deep

Yes! It’s really that deep. You wouldn’t understand because you haven’t been confronted by the Lord in love yet. So many things happen when you sincerely begin walking with Christ, and much of it doesn’t feel good at all.
It’s not cool being a new believer, being spiritually attacked, and not knowing what’s going on. Demons don’t play fair. They do some of their best work when you don’t know the Word, and it’s open season on baby believers because they’re so new to it.
(Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.)
It’s not cool experiencing things that no pastors or preachers teach on.
It’s not cool having intense sex dreams and wet dreams as a new believer—things you never had to deal with while you were still in the world. The fight with lust is its own beast.
It’s not cool having never experienced sleep paralysis before, but now sometimes it feels like something heavy is sitting on your chest and you can’t move or breathe. But you know what works every single time without fail? Building up the physical strength to call the Lord’s name—and immediately, you’re released.
It’s not cool having so many “teachers” with “tenure in this walk” try to teach you Scripture only so they can use you, satisfy their own bellies, and never do any real Kingdom work.
(Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.)
It’s not cool having false believers try to force marriage onto you because of your God-given light and their desire to control it.
None of it’s cool. This walk is one of the most difficult experiences—if not the most difficult.
But you know what makes it all worth it? Christ Himself will save you, protect you, and provide for you if you truly love Him and know that He is God. He will show you the people who mean to harm you. He will give you the blueprint for the ideas He placed in your heart. You may not see it all right away, but I promise you—if you cleave to Him, He’ll make it all clear, one way or another.
Calling on His name has pulled me out of so much trouble. And if I were ever to become a reprobate, I should even be embarrassed to say His name.
2 Timothy 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
